Calgary, Canada – Bluespiral Solutions today is thrilled to announce a Free new update to Snooker Star for the iPhone and iPod touch with a new 2 player, 3 frame match challenge. You have 45 seconds to score as many points as possible, build the highest break and complete the frame before your opponent and the timer runs out.
Snooker Star is a one touch, memory based snooker game played with hidden balls, bonuses and hazards on a randomized board. QUICK PLAY (1 frame practice) or INFINITY game modes are available in single player mode or you can invite friends and challenge snooker star players around the world to a best of 3 frame match up. Chalk Power is the key strategic element of the infinity and 2 player games. You have to think several moves ahead and remember where the top ups are to ensure you have enough chalk left to complete the frame.
As a fan of Snooker and being born in Sheffield, UK (the home of the world snooker championships) it was a great challenge taking a typical frame of snooker and then do something completely different with it. I wanted to capture the thinking aspects of the game, the technical and strategy play that fans of snooker enjoy so much. Snooker is so much more than just potting balls, it’s a battle of minds and the seizing of opportunities to make every move count. This is what Snooker Star for the iPhone is all about.
