About the Author:
Lawrence Treat, the author of over seventeen mystery books and countless short stories, was past president and a director of Mystery Writers of America. He received the Edgar Award for Best Shorty Mystery of the Year in 1965, and a Special Edgar in 1978 for editing the “Mystery Writer’s Handbook”, and was a prize-winner at the Crime Writer’s International Short Story Contest held in Stockholm in 1981.
