DiskHUB Pro functions as a central hub for or bridge between users’ iDevices and their local and remote files, plus devices. This is accomplished through iOS 4.0 , as the user designates an available resource as a “Bonjour Disk.” Bonjour is Apple’s implementation of Zero Configuration Networking that allows iOS to locate and connect with devices such as printers, computers, and other shared entities (photos, music, data, etc.) on a local network. An app that centralizes control, DiskHUB Pro serves as a downloader & download manager, a single app from which users can access a wide variety of files, sharing & storage services, and devices. DiskHUB Pro supports all the following file types: MP4, MOV, MP3, AAC, PDF, Numbers, Pages, Key, PPT, Doc, XLS, HTML, RTF, images, and more.

For example, a user can add an unlimited number of “Disks” to the My Disks menu. Each has its own icon, representing the kind of “Disk” it is. A typical menu list might include: Wi-Fi, Browser, Dropbox, and FTP. Touching any item opens a full page that displays the entire contents of the “Disk.” From within this powerful hub application, users can effortlessly move from browsing through Dropbox files and viewing stored photos, to opening Google Docs while simultaneously downloading multiple files.

“Access, view, and download files, photos, music, and videos onto your iDevice with DiskHUB Pro,” stated Stone Wang of 9 Square. “DiskHUB Pro is a powerful bridge between your iDevice and a myriad of sharing services, and shared resources.”
