Albany, New York – Innovative mobile app developer, Doctored Apps, announces the release of Lumos, a Harry Potter themed wand and crystal ball app. Designed for Harry Potter fans, Lumos is the first ever voice-activated wand and crystal ball app. It contains 10 fun and creative voice-activated spells. Users can say “Lumos” to turn on the phone’s flashlight and “Nox” to turn it off. Other spells include Stupefy, Point Me, and Accio Owl. In addition, users can ask the crystal ball questions and receive Harry Potter inspired answers such as, “You have a better chance of catching the golden snitch.”
Co-Founder of Doctored Apps, Peter Allegretti, notes the app has already attracted a great deal of attention from Harry Potter fans. “Lumos has been featured on some of the most influential Harry Potter websites and Facebook pages, including PotterBlogger.com and the Facebook page Voldemophobia: The Fear of Having No Nose.”
Mike Tanski, Co-Founder of Doctored Apps and lead developer of Lumos, says the company will continue to update and improve the app. “The Doctored Apps team is already working on a number of updates.
