La Baneza, Spain – Today, Fallen Leaf Soft announces Horus News Reader for Mac. A news reader application with a unique UI that brings a tablet/smartphone experience to computers. Thanks to the magic mouse and magic trackpad all news are two swipes away. Scroll vertically to navigate through the different feeds and horizontally to read all the news of a feed.
To provide a smooth 60 fps scroll most part of the interface in Horus News Reader has been developed using OpenGL to get all the power of graphics cards. As all the feeds are available without selecting them or its category, the user can customize the color of every feed to organize them. They can choose the same color to make a category of feeds or use the most iconic color of the website to identify them quickly.
Horus News Reader can also manage podcasts and videopodcasts, providing a link to the media file associated in a news item. The user can also share his favorite news using the integrated share sheet in OS X available since OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.
