Port Washington, New York – TapMedia today is pleased to announce the release of Instamac 1.1, an important update to their fun and elegant Instagram client for the Macintosh. Instamac allows you to set how often you want your feed to be updated with images from the people you follow. Easily view the most popular images, just like you would with Instagram for iPhone.
Version 1.1 brings many refinements to the already popular Instagram client for Mac that was the number 8 most popular app in the AppStore in its debut week. Such improvements include:
* A completely refined user interface
* Retina Screen support for the new MacBook Pro
* Slideshow functionality
* Improved settings view
* Updated profile support
* Now save an image to your computer by pressing the “command” and “S” buttons on your keyboard
The developers at TapMedia spent a lot of time going through each and every user interface element to make Instamac the most elegant Instagram Client for the Mac. Users can now tap the slideshow button in the toolbar to create a beautiful, full screen slideshow of their image feed, a particular tag, or images of a particular user. This can be very useful.
With Instamac’s updated profile support, users can click a person’s username offering an easy-to-read profile view which includes their user-bio, links to their images, and a follow button. Additionally, Instamac now automatically enables alerts in Notification Center, as well as auto-refresh. If you wish to modify these settings, or add a sound that plays when you receive a new image, you’ll find these options in the settings view.
* OS X 10.8 or later
* 64-bit processor
* 5.7 MB
