Vilnius, Lithuania – Jumsoft, developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X, is continuing its series of updates to its most popular product, Money, the business and finance tool. This week sees the release of improved iPhone and iPad versions of Money. Enhancements to the updated apps feature a payee location functionality powered by Foursquare, export of reports, improved search capabilities, and a number of other fixes and refinements.
Money was first released in 2003 and has since become extremely popular with both small business and home Mac users. Fans of Money appreciate its high degree of usability and the ease of financial management it provides. Money allows users to track transactions to and from their wallets, bank accounts, and share trading accounts; to plan budgets and monitor actual spending; to manage bills; and to generate income/expense reports. All of these features are available to Money’s iPhone and iPad users on the go.
The upgraded Money for iPhone 2.4 and Money for iPad 1.1 present the possibility of adding payees from the Foursquare list of nearby places, assigning addresses to existing payees, and viewing payee locations on a map. Additionally, all Foursquare payees come with pre-assigned but editable categories, which makes adding new transactions much faster and more convenient.
Algirdas Unguvaitis, Jumsoft’s general manager, said, “The latest update of Money might well set a new standard for personal finance apps. It makes expense tracking handy, simple, and positively fun, and the Foursquare features are outright perfect for entering transactions on the go.”
Other than the Foursquare integration, the updated iOS versions of Money are capable of exporting reports to the PDF and CSV formats, marking transactions as reconciled, and sending direct feedback to the developers. In addition, the apps now feature improved search and filtering as well as multiple interface and usability enhancements.
