Pleasantville, New York – Artgig Apps today is pleased to announce the release of Marble Math, a new math practice app for kids that blends problem solving, strategy, core math concepts, and good plain fun. Featured as New and Noteworthy in the App Store, Marble Math is designed for middle to upper elementary ages 9-12+.
The object of the game is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as you roll or drag your marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians will be excited to earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems and achieving high scores. There is no time limit – children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.
Marble Math adheres closely to math concepts children are already learning in the classroom. The skills are divided into three levels: easy, medium and hard, so learners can select the level that best suits them. Teachers and parents can further customize problem types within each level to target specific learning areas.
“We had a lot of fun making Marble Math and I think it shows. It’s got a bit of a classic pinball feel with a funhouse twist. Kids love the idea of dodging a boxing glove or solving math in the dark with only a flashlight to guide you.” says Matthew Kicinski, President of Artgig Apps. “And if the obstacles are too distracting, you can always turn them off to focus solely on the problems. Marble Math is extremely flexible, providing a number of options to ensure a good fit between the learner and the experience.”
