A new selection of library items for use with MacDraft which will speed up and simplify the creation of house plans for architects, builders and contractors.

MacDraft Professional is a powerful 2D CAD, drafting, technical illustration and architectural drawing package for Apple Macintosh Computers which is affordable and easy to use. The Library Palette provides users with a way to drag and drop ready made symbols, part drawings or whole drawings into the current design as it progresses. The new Home Designer Libraries provide 4 ready made libraries for use in home design which will enormously speed up and simplify the drawing process for architects, builders and contractors.

The release comprises four new content libraries allowing the user to have quick and easy access to pre-drawn items drawn to1/4″=1ft scale in vector format and in English units (feet and inches). The complete list of libraries are Plan, Sectional & Elevation Components, Complete Home Additions Plans, Common Home Design Libraries and Complete Sectional & Elevation Drawings.

The Plan, Sectional & Elevation Components Library includes over 300 commonly used drag and drop parts for use in the floor plans, sectional views, foundation and elevation layers of your drawings. These are designed for use in layers while drawing a complete home or re-modelling plan.

The Common Home Design Libraries include over 160 commonly used, fully editable parts for drawing new homes or re-modelling projects. These libraries consist of common items that are time consuming and repetitive to draw. They are designed to simply drag and drop onto your plans and can be ungrouped and modified easily.

The Complete Home Additions Plans includes over 200 complete additions plans available in 6,8,10 and 12 roof pitch. These drag and drop libraries come complete and ready for permitting, each will include a floor plan, foundation plan, sectional view and 3 elevations. The elements can be modified to meet your own needs and each plan alone is worth 150 dollars and can be ready for permitting in minutes.

The Complete Sectional & Elevation Drawings library includes over 50 already completed and easily editable sectional view (cross section) drawings. Sectional views are one of the most time consuming plans to draw when drawing a home or addition plan. Designed by a professional Home Building Designer these 50 Sectional view plans will cover most any project you are working on. They can be used as is or can be easily modified for your particular plan. Also included are gable elevation drawings to help you create elevated views quickly and easily.
