Seoul, Korea – Montowers, an iOS game in which players collect monsters to represent them in battle, has been a resounding success for its developer and publisher, Buffstone. The game’s broad appeal has garnered over 10,000 postive reviews and earned it a number one spot in Japan’s game category for two weeks. Potential for the quality game to reach even greater heights has led to a partnership between Buffstone and YD Online, with the goal of releasing the game in Korea for the first time, and organizing a relaunch in the United States and China to celebrate its successes.

In Montowers, players take on the role of a powerful sorcerer/scientist who utilizes the help of his gorgeous assistant to summon a wide variety of monsters in order to defeat each level of the game’s 600 towers. These coins can then be used to summon the defeated monster to battle as an ally. “Monsters” include a staggering array of creatures, including mythological beasts, horror genre creatures, and even adorable fantasy creatures. Spooky, seductive, creepy, or cute, each Montowers monsters is prepared to prove itself in battle for its master.
The game features RPG-like elements, as players work to earn upgrades for each monster, improving their battle-ready forces continually. Upgrades not only improve monsters’ stats, but enhance their appearances as well, adding greater detail and more accessories.
