New York, New York – Tap Nation today announces the release of NOAA Radar Pro, a powerful yet easy-to-use weather station right on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The app does not only allow to track the latest weather activity in smooth high-definition on a highly interactive map, but also to get detailed information about current weather conditions, 24-hour and 7-day weather forecast in any location users choose.
NOAA Radar Pro is the only app where all National Weather Service watches, warnings, advisories and other alerts are shown on the map as interactive polygons covering the territories they’re active for. Whenever bad or hazardous weather occurs in users’ area, the app reflects it allowing people to keep track of the current weather situation.
Radar and Satellite overlays show real-time rain, snow, mixed precipitation, and cloud cover in high resolution and vivid colors. The app allows to control the loop speed, choose the number of frames as well as set opacity for radar and satellite overlays thus providing full customization. There is also a system for bookmarking locations so users can quickly switch to favorite spots to see what the current weather outlook is there.
“We’ve worked really hard on NOAA Radar Pro, striving to let users view a complete and precise picture of the coming weather and stay well prepared for it. Surely, the app can give you way more than all-round weather info, it’ll give you confidence in your and the beloved ones’ safety”, commented Valdis Pikmanis, VP of Tap Nation.
