Berkeley, California – Quadrivio Corporation today introduced Nota plex 1.0, a multipurpose note-writing app for the iPad, featuring an extended keyboard that includes keys for check lists, outlines, and calculations. Groups of notes are arranged as thumbnail views in a visual layout. Nota plex is available for $3.99 on the App Store.
“Nota plex is the ideal note-writing app for iPad users who prefer to write notes by typing instead of handwriting,” said Michael Budiansky, President of Quadrivio Corporation. “The keyboard is a tool iPad users already know how to use, which makes it easy to be productive quickly with Nota plex. This app can help you get all those notes and papers off your desk and have them conveniently available on your iPad.”
Nota plex offers four different note sizes in seven different colors, with a choice of plain, lined, or grid rulings. The available note dimensions correspond to both U.S. and ISO sizes. Nota plex uses a scrollable view of up to 12 pages, with each page containing multiple thumbnail views of notes in a standard grid. This encourages users to organize their groups of notes visually and dynamically, the way one might arrange papers on a desk or table.
With Nota plex, users can create:
* Check lists
* Numbered lists
* Time-stamped logs
* Internet bookmarks
* Free-form calculations
The app also has features for import and export, backup and restore, text search, typing of custom characters and symbols, and it includes a built-in user guide.
* Requires iPad iOS 5.0 or later
* 6.2 MB
Pricing and Availability:
Nota plex 1.0 is only $3.99 USD and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Productivity category.
