London, United Kingdom – Paddle is today pleased to announce the immediate availability of Paddle for Developers. It’s a simple framework allowing Mac software developers to quickly and easily create trial and demo versions of their Mac applications.
The Paddle framework, in its basic installation, allows you to offer a trial/demo version and take payments in-app. The framework can be added to an existing Mac application in as little as 5 minutes. With the ability for developers to optionally extend the framework in numerous different ways, such as limiting app functionality during the trial period.
Additional services are also provided for developers who decide to implement the framework, such as marketing and promotion services to Paddle’s more than 150,000 active users, a dedicated account manager to assist the developer with all queries, ensuring questions and concerns are always promptly answered. In addition to this, all order-related customer support for sales via the framework is managed by Paddle. Meaning customer queries such as lost license keys, missing receipts or other non-technical questions are answered, giving developers more time to produce great software.
The framework, and functionality provided cost nothing for a developer to implement. No signup fees, or setup fees, and no monthly account maintenance fees. The only fee charged is at the point of sale within the app, Paddle takes a small commission on each sale generated via the trial version.
