New Orleans, Louisiana – Regular Rate and Rhythm Software today is pleased to announce Rowmote Pro 3.7 for iPhone, iPod touch, a major update to their complete remote control solution for Mac OS X and Apple TV. Rowmote Pro emulates the Apple hardware remote control, providing application-specific controls through a consistent interface, while featuring a multitouch trackpad and keyboard. The update marks the first iOS application which can remotely control OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion’s AirPlay mirroring functionality.

Rowmote Pro controls over forty popular applications, from music applications like iTunes and Spotify to video players such as DVD Player, Hulu Desktop, Plex, and Front Row, to presentation tools such as Microsoft Powerpoint and Apple Keynote. Access to a customizable list as well as the Mac’s Dock aids switching between and controlling applications.

With version 3.7, users can select AirPlay mirroring destinations, both for screen and for audio mirroring, directly from their iOS device. AirPlay allows Macs running OS X 10.8 to send their audio and video to any AirPlay compatible destination, such as an AppleTV and Airport Express.

Rowmote Pro allows complete control over the Mac with its trackpad and optional keyboard. It supports landscape full-screen mode, two finger scrolling and right clicking, dragging, and accented and international characters, over any number of connected screens and TVs. Rowmote Pro evolved from Rowmote for iPhone and iPod touch, which offers the same features except without keyboard and mouse support.

Device Requirements:
iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iOS 4.0 or later. The free Rowmote Helper software must be running on the Mac or Apple TV. Apple TV support requires a jailbroken 1st or 2nd generation Apple TV; this is not necessary for AirPlay functionality.

Pricing and Availability:
Rowmote Pro 3.7 is $4.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category.
