San Francisco, California – Smile, a developer of productivity applications for Mac and iOS, announced a special Back-To-School discount of 50% on its award-winning PDF editing applications, PDFpen for Mac and PDFpen for iPad. The limited-time offer expires August 21, 2012 at midnight Pacific time.

* PDFpen for iPad, the mobile version of PDFpen that makes it possible to make corrections, fill out forms and sign them, annotate drafts and more. (regular price: $14.99, with the special discount: $6.99)

Fully-functional demo versions PDFpen for Mac and PDFpenPro for Mac are available on the Smile website. The latest versions of PDFpen and PDFpenPro require OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and a 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor. iCloud storage requires OS X 10.7.2 or later.

The Back-To-School discount on the Mac versions is available on both Smile’s store (coupon code PDFPENBTS12) and the Mac App Store. PDFpen for iPad is available on the iTunes App Store and requires an iPad running iOS 5. The discount expires at midnight Pacific time, Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
