Milan, Italy – Independent developer, Matteo Rossi is pleased to announce Steel Profiles for iPhone and iPad, an easy to use yet full-featured reference tool that includes steel shapes from American, Canadian, British and European standards. All profiles are searchable by different criteria: name, area, elastic modulus, inertia and radius of gyration. Data can be sorted by multiple properties in both ascending or descending order: it’s really easy to pick the right section out of thousands available. All displayed values can be converted on the fly to different units.
Steel Profiles is a universal app: it works for both iPhone and iPad. It sports enhanced detailed graphics for Retina displays and two different themes. On the iPad two display modes are available: all-in-one and classic table. Classic table displays sections with additional properties on each row for quick and easy comparisons. Steel Profiles currently includes shapes from AISC 14 (both metric and imperial units), CISC 92, DIN, EN and BS EN standards. A video walkthrough is available on YouTube.
