Adelaide, Australia – Zervaas Enterprises today is pleased to announce the addition of wheelchair accessibility information to TransitTimes+, its popular trip planning app for iPhone, iPad and Android that makes traveling by public transit faster and easier.
This innovative feature, currently available in select cities, gives wheelchair-bound users who take the subway, bus, or train a simple and convenient way to plan their trip. Now, riders know ahead of time exactly which stops are accessible, opening up new destinations and routes.
“Wheelchair accessibility listings was a feature requested by many users who rely on this information, so we’re very proud to release this new feature,” said Quentin Zervaas, owner of Zervaas Enterprises, which created the TransitTimes+ app. “Having this vital information at your fingertips gives riders with disabilities more options to travel with confidence.”
App users can enable the new setting within TransitTimes+ to show wheelchair accessibility indicators on journey and stop details, where available. A blue wheelchair icon means that a stop is accessible while an icon with a red “X” means it is not.
This critical information is conveniently shown when selecting a stop or viewing stop details. Viewing details of a journey will even show if specific trip segments are wheelchair accessible.
