Los Angeles CA / Boston MA – The stage show agenda has now been set for the Sixth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place during IBC2013 on Sunday, 15 September 2013 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam. This SuperMeet promises to be the single largest gathering of Final Cut, Adobe, Avid and Autodesk editors, digital filmmakers, gurus and users during IBC2013 week. Scheduled to appear on stage will be UK based filmmaker and director James Tonkin of Hangman Studios. James will show the forthcoming DaVinci Resolve 10 and screen footage he has shot with the new Pocket Cinema Camera and the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. James will provide a closer look at DaVinci Resolve 10’s new functionality and features and the workflow with the Blackmagic Design cameras.

Internationally-renowned consultant and Apple-Certified trainer Larry Jordan returns to the SuperMeet stage to take a closer look at Final Cut Pro X. It has been 2 years and nine dot releases since Final Cut Pro X was launched. Is it ready for professional use? It is time to discover the answer for yourself. Learn what you can, and cannot do with FCP X. Discover for yourself the speed, power, and flexibility that Final Cut provides for even the most demanding workflows. See new tools in action that help you work faster. And, if you’ve never seen Larry on stage, you are in for a treat – his demos are amazing! Plus, there will be time for questions and comments.

Al Mooney of Adobe returns to show us how to create brilliant visuals more efficiently with a smoother, more integrated workflow using Adobe’s Premiere Pro CC.

Filmmaker and post-production specialist Alexis Van Hurkman and Marc-Andre Ferguson of Autodesk will take us behind the scenes of “The Place Where You Live,” an effects-driven short film. Alexis will show how he used Autodesk Smoke’s editorial and visual effects capabilities together to hone the narrative and work with a group of international compositing artists. Alexis will share details of the production and post-production workflows he used for the film, and how he brought the project to life using Smoke.

Audio and Pro Tools expert Mike Thornton will show us how anyone can solve common audio problems, using real-world examples to highlight his techniques. Mike will teach us how to fix issues related to poor microphone placement and noisy conditions during on-location shoots. He will show us how using the soon to be released iZotope RX 3, quite possibly the world’s best-sounding audio repair toolkit on the market.

Doors will open at 16:30 – 17:00 for the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring 24 software and hardware developers including Adobe, Autodesk, Avid, Blackmagic Design, Atomos, Audio Network, B&H Photo, Blackcam System, Filmlight, Freefly Cinema, The Future Store, G-Tech, Imagine Software, Lightworks, Maxon, Media Machine, Noise Industries, Pond5, Red Giant, Shutterstock, SAE, Socrates Digital, Studio Network Solutions and Visual Buddha. Here, attendees can enjoy a few cocktails, mingle and party with industry peers, network one on one with leading manufacturers and learn about the latest trends in collaborative editing workflows for post production and broadcast markets.

Rounding out the evening will be a “Show and Tell” by a local Amsterdam filmmaker and the always wild “World Famous Raffle,” where currently over 32,000 Euros worth of valuable software and hardware, including a Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera and a GoPro camera, will be handed out to dozens of lucky winners.

Tickets are only 15.00 Euros each (includes 2 raffle tickets) for General Admission and 10.00 Euros for students and Teachers and are on sale online only. It will be 20.00 Euros each at the door assuming any tickets are left as historically every SuperMeet sells out. Food (snacks) and cash bars will be available throughout the evening.
