Wilmington, Delaware – Genius Gnome and his musical frog join children on a learning adventure in Little Genius 2.1, a freshly revised version of the beloved app for preschoolers. The latest from Little Beetle, the creator of popular apps such as 123 Zoo and Whats & Whys, the Little Genius app is now available for download for iPad and iPhone through the iTunes App Store.

The company has also announced a limited time discount on Little Genius, saving users 70% off the regular price.

“Children love quests and solving puzzles,” said Shakhnoz Bazarova, Development Manager of Little Beetle. “With Little Genius, boys and girls have the best of both while learning lifelong skills and developing independence.”

Filled with bright and warm colors and lively animation, the journey begins as children help a boyish Genius Gnome navigate a map dotted with treasure chests. Hidden within each chest are four game tasks that children solve with the gnome. With more than 30 adorable and colorful baby animal characters, the four games immediately appeal to preschoolers.

In one game, children test memory skills as they match up cards to create animal pairs. Another game develops compare-and-contrast skills by asking children to find all the cards containing a certain animal. Children express their inner Picasso during one game by choosing colors to embellish a delightful animal scene. A simple puzzle, the final game, encourages spatial awareness.

With successful completion of the tasks in a treasure chest, the child moves on to a new chest with more difficult games. For example, as children progress from chest to chest they will find an increase in the number of pieces in each simple puzzle as well as in the number of cards to create matching animal pairs.

Dedicated to ensuring the highest quality apps, Little Beetle worked with specialists in education, child psychology and sound recording to create Little Genius. Preschoolers will improve their memory, logic, attention and fine motor skills while busily engaged in an adventure and enthralled by the frog’s carefree music.

As school programs become increasingly competitive, parents are searching for quality products that will give their children an advantage. Little Beetle recognized these needs and created Little Genius to speak to them. Accordingly, Little Genius is more than just a fun game that will keep children happy and entertained.

“Parents want the best educational opportunities for their children,” said Shakhnoz Bazarova. “Little Genius gives children a head start on the abilities they will need to succeed in school and life.”
