The game is inspired from the traditional Animal Chess game where the animals are ranked in the circle way. The strongest one can be killed by the weakest one if being attacked. It also shares the same interesting feature with Stratego game, where the pieces are hidden from your opponent.
The nice thing about Mini War is that it allows you to have a pretty fair winning chance when playing against an experienced player if you are lucky enough. With the fact that your opponent does not know about your army setup – all the pieces are hidden – you can have multiple interesting strategies such as keeping a hidden card, or bluffing as in poker.
In MiniWar, you will control your army to protect your flag while also trying your best to capture the opponent’s one. Each player will have a total of 16 pieces, some with different specialties. The game setup is really important since you need to arrange the pieces to fit nicely with your strategy. The game will end when either yours or your enemy’s flag is captured. If you win the game, you will earn coins to fill up your energy. At the same time, you will earn points to help you get to higher ranks and stay in the top chart. Meanwhile, if you lose a game, you will lose some points and earn less coins. You will receive rewarding badges when you make some achievements.
We have been developing Mini War for the past year to make it a real-time social game. If you log in to the game, you will see the players gathering in a lobby chatting, making friends, and challenging each other similar to other popular real-time strategy games such as Starcraft, Warcraft.
