Lyon, France – After recently celebrating its 500,000th paid download, MosaLingua is announcing the launch of its language-learning applications for iPad and Android tablets. This new version of MosaLingua, which will be available on the App Store and Google Play on September 20, makes it possible for current and new users to learn and improve their foreign-language skills on not only their smartphones but also the most popular tablets on the market.

“We’ve totally redesigned the application – a project that took 7 months to complete,” state Samuel Michelot and Thibault Durand, of MosaLingua’s development team. “We improved the design to suit current tastes and optimized the ergonomics for tablet use. There has been high demand for this from a number of our users, who would like to be able to use the application on their smartphones during the day and on the more comfortable screen of a tablet at home in the evening or on the weekend.”

Other than improvements and additions to a number of flash cards, this update also gives users the option to deepen their knowledge of a word or phrase learned in the application. By following the links in the flash card details, users can find examples of a word’s use or pictures associated with a word. Please note that an Internet connection is required for this function – unlike the rest of the application, which works completely offline.

MosaLingua’s new update will be available starting September 20 for the following applications: MosaLingua Spanish, MosaLingua French, MosaLingua German, MosaLingua Italian, on Android and iOS. Description of the project and additional information on MosaLingua applications is available online. Free, pre-launch download for bloggers and journalists.
