Gurgaon, India – Pariksha Labs, an upcoming publisher for Indian content apps has announced its latest mobile app “inNews – Your Indian News-stand and News Reader App” to find and read News from India.
inNews is an Indian News aggregator app – it brings a large collection of news sources together to provide a single, familiar and enjoyable reading experience for the user. “News readers like Pulse, Flipboard are very popular in western countries but news from India is not easily available in these readers” – said Mr. Arvind Jha, Founder/CEO at Pariksha Labs. “It is hard for an Indian consumer to get his favorite national, regional and India specific news. Our goal is to use technology to provide residents and globally spread diaspora not only all news from India (including language news) but make it cross reference-able, search-able and available at the tap of a finger” – he added.
inNews is a Free app that aggregates over 3000 news feeds, supports 6 major languages and a powerful related news technology at the time of launching. ‘We will continue to add more languages and sources; and continue to enhance the social reading, personalization ability and search-ability of the app to make this the most comprehensive and savvy news reader on India”, Mr. Jha claimed.
inNews is currently available on both Apple AppStore and Android Play Store and has been designed for any device/tablet with a 7″ or larger screen size. The company claims that a larger screen improves readability for users which is why they decided to launch a tablet version first. A smartphone version is being planned for next year release. The app will also be made available on Windows and Kindle tablets soon, according to company sources.
Pariksha claimed that their first app “inTube” has over 20,000 downloads and has users across 65 countries. Speaking on this, Mr. Jha said – “We are already seeing a strong response from the Indian diaspora to our apps. We are very pleased to simplify their search for Indian content”. Pariksha is also working on an app for regional books/magazines, tv schedules and social gifting, the company indicated.
