Seattle, Washington – Melesta Games has launched the iPhone version of Rolling Idols, Mayan-themed match-3 puzzle game where the goal is to save the world and the elements from being swallowed up by the evil entity Niburu. The game is now available for download from the Apple App Store.
Rolling Idols challenges players to rebuild an ancient Mayan city while enjoying classic match-3 gameplay. In addition to classic mode, the second world offers a gameplay twist: players can only make diagonal matches, which can be more challenging and interesting than matching horizontal or vertical lines. Players can also choose between Action (timed) and Relaxed modes depending on whether they want to focus on speed or strategy.
The game’s developers were inspired by the world of the ancient Mayans and that culture’s unique relationship to nature. Two additional game modes are coming soon: a tournament for players called Blitz mode, and a Story mode with a detailed map of levels. Melesta Games invites players to immerse themselves in the ancient Mayan world of Rolling Idols, now on iPhone, and experience more than 100 levels, numerous achievements, and the glory of being the ultimate hero.
