Bangalore, India – The Pyree Solutions today introduces Series Tree 1.0.0.0 free for iPad, its innovative, number puzzle game, where single players must correctly drag over a grid of integers between 1 and 9, such that when linked together correctly, the integers form a logical series. For example, the first two numbers of the puzzle may be 8 and 24, and players must then drag, horizontally or vertically, over the following series of integers to solve the puzzle: 722166481944. Each puzzle contains 24 integers, there are 3 levels of play, timed and untimed modes at each level, and marathon play. Players get immediate feedback if they drag onto an integer that is incorrect at that position in the series, and they can easily take back moves.
Feature Highlights:
* Ingenious, new number puzzle game for players of all levels of ability
* For the first time, numbers in a game have to be linked to find the number-series
* Time-limited puzzles on levels 1-3 must be completed in 24 or 48 seconds
* Learn to recognize arithmetic, geometric, prime, and logical series
* Each puzzle contains 24 integers, with the first 4 already selected
* Start solving puzzles using no time limit, then turn on the clock
Series Tree is an extremely challenging game, where players create a rectilinear path through a 4×5 grid of integers, linking integers from 1 to 9 to form numbers that create a logical series. Each series contains between 5 to 9 numbers, which can be single or multi-digit. Series can be arithmetic series (e.g., 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27), geometric series (e.g., 2, 6, 18, 54, 162, 486), Fibonacci series (e.g., 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21), or a prime number series (e.g., 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19). The first 4 integers of each puzzle are given; they lead in a straight line up to the grid of 20 remaining integers.
Series Tree allows players to make only legal moves, where each successive integer is linked in the correct order. Illegal moves are not recorded on the gameboard. However, if the integer 3 is the next in the series, the game gives no feedback as to which one of the available 3’s is correct. Frequently, players must plan several moves ahead to successfully solve the puzzle. Sometimes, the numbers in the series are easy to determine in advance. However, players often find that there are many dead ends, where they have successfully linked 7 of 8 numbers, but cannot complete the full series. For each puzzle, there is a unique solution, and many alternative paths that appear correct until players find they have no legal moves.
“For those who love numbers and puzzles, Series Tree gives you a chance to explore linking numbers to form a series,” stated Pavan Kumar of The Pyree Solutions. “There is fascinating, logical gameplay here for everyone, at every skill level. With an unlimited amount of time, and the ability to take back moves, no puzzle should prove insoluble.”
