Ithaca, New York – Sandcrater Software is pleased to announce their latest release (1.7) of the MiniECal Exchange Calendar Assistant for iOS. MiniECal allows users to view the calendars of other users on the same system.
“In many organizations, the need for some employees to view the calendars of other employees is a requirement,” says Ron DiNapoli, owner of Sandcrater Software. “Such functionality is not possible using the built in Calendar application in iOS.” MiniECal provides this added functionality and is intended to be used as a supplement to, but not a replacement of the iOS Calendar application.
MiniECal provides the ability to view a single person’s calendar or a group of calendars simultaneously in a standard “list view” mode or a graphical “side by side” mode (similar to a “week at a time” view in other calendar applications). In either mode it is possible to view details about each meeting such as meeting location, attendees and meeting description.
MiniECal Version 1.7 adds the ability to use Microsoft’s auto discover functionality with older Exchange 2007 servers (previously only Exchange 2010 or later was supported for auto discover) and compatibility with the upcoming release of iOS 7.
