Different exercises can be added and deleted for each user, and words for each exercise are customizable.
There are two very well designed and implemented sections in Spelling Drills. The practise section will simply quiz your kid on the words in the exercise. First, the word appears on the screen, then asks the user to re-spell the word. Very simple. This develops the knowledge required for the test section. This is where your child has to think in context. The test exercise uses the same words, only this time they are placed in a sentence. For example: “It’s important to have common _ _ _ _ _ .” So the answer would be sense. This teaches your child not only how to spell the word but how it can be applied in context. In addition, each test is graded and the grades are stored in a database. So all test scores can be viewed at any time.
