Picture messaging has been around for several years now. Its been a popular way to share and interact with friends remotely, but today, there’s a new way to interact with the photos you send.
USPLUS is a game based on two players interacting with one another, remotely. Unlike many other social games where players can be searched for, discovered and randomly added, with USPLUS you must know the person and input their unique invitation name to begin playing. The result is a very personal gaming experience. This is good, because the game requires quite personal input from both parties involved. For example, the game starts but providing a sentence a blank word, in our example it will be “Together, we are _______”. One of the players completes the sentence and inserts a word, lets say “awesome”. Now both players must find a photo on their phone or take a photo with the camera that accurately portrays the sentence. With ability to crop and edit the photo as you wish, the result will be a 50/50 collage of both photos with the “filled in” word in the center. There are also several other game modes and various extras that help enhance that gaming experience.
From personal experience, I’d say that USPLUS is definitely a unique experience. I’m not sure that I’d call it a full-fledged game, but it is definitely a social application that can prove to be a fun experience with a friend or someone who know fairly well. The app is free and so its definitely worth checking out if this new type of communication is something that you’re interested in.
